New features like built in DVD player, Multimedia USB with PVR functions, 1x HDMI, VGA, Scart, Component and Composite you will never be short on inputs to be able to connect to the TV.
The USB input provides two functions, one as a Multi Media input so you can simply plug in your portable hard drive with all your movies and music and the TV will access all your files and playback whatever you choose. The second and very important feature is PVR, Personal Video Recording. This allows you to put in a USB (which the TV will need to format) and then when you are watching TV you can select record and the TV will record your movie or TV station to your USB device to allow you to play back at any later date.
