Two-berth caravans come in all shapes and sizes but the end-kitchen, corner-washroom layout is a classic and is neatly embodied in the compact Lunar Ariva.
With an MTPLM of less than 1000kg it can be towed by a wide range of cars and makes a terrific tourer for couples just taking up caravanning or who are downsizing, and a very user friendly for those solo travelers.
This example, despite its short body, it’s surprisingly spacious inside. You’ll fall in love with it when you first lay eyes on it.
Inside there are parallel couches at the front, which can be transformed into twin singles or a double bed at night. The galley kitchen at the back with plenty of cupboard space and is equipped with a three-burner gas hob and a separate oven and grill. In the corner is the perfectly usable bathroom, with a cassette toilet and shower-tray floor.
There is a spacious wardrobe in the center next to the bathroom with a Truma blown-air heater in its base to warm the space. Opposite is a dresser housing the fridge, which frees up cupboard space in the kitchen.
A radio/CD player, corner mains lighting, battery charger, water heater and large & medium rooflights make up to a very light filled enjoyable space.
